¿Qué es Trumenba?
Trumenba es una vacuna utilizada para prevenir enfermedades invasivas causadas por Neisseria meningitidis del serogrupo B en individuos de 10 a 25 años de edad. Funciona estimulando el sistema inmunológico para que produzca anticuerpos contra el serogrupo B, ofreciendo inmunidad protectora. La vacuna se administra de manera intramuscular, típicamente en una serie de tres dosis.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Fainting
- Fever, chills
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have an immune system problem or a history of nerve problems, including Guillain-Barré syndrome.
- This vaccine may not protect everyone who receives it. It will not treat symptoms of meningococcal infection if you already have the disease.
