Caltrate 600+D3 is a supplement primarily used to prevent or treat low blood calcium levels in individuals who do not get enough calcium from their diets. It combines 600 mg of calcium with Vitamin D3 to enhance calcium absorption, supporting bone health and maintaining essential functions such as nerve transmission and muscle contraction. This product is often recommended to aid in the prevention of osteoporosis and ensure overall skeletal health.

• You should not use certain brands of this medicine if you have kidney disease or are on dialysis, because they may harm your kidneys. Ask your caregiver what brands are best for you.
• If you are using a large amount of calcium or using it for a long time, your doctor might need to check your blood on a regular basis. Be sure to keep all appointments.
