Epsom salt, chemically known as magnesium sulfate, is a mineral compound traditionally used in bath soaks to relieve muscle soreness and stress. It can also be used as a laxative when taken orally or as a magnesium supplement when deficiencies exist.Side Effects

- Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.
