What is Pseudoephedrine Hcl ?

Pseudoephedrine HCl is a sympathomimetic amine commonly used as a nasal decongestant and for relieving sinus pressure in colds and allergies. It functions by constricting blood vessels in the nasal passages, reducing swelling and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is available both over-the-counter and by prescription, but its sale is regulated due to its potential use in the synthesis of methamphetamine.
