Warnings
- Oral routeThis medicine may cause birth defects if either partner is using it during conception or pregnancy. Tell your doctor right away if you or your partner becomes pregnant. Male patients with female partners should use an effective form of birth control during treatment with this medicine and for 3 months after the last dose. If you think your partner has become pregnant while using this medicine, tell your doctor right away.
- Tell your doctor if you have high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, or a history of a brain injury or tumor, seizures, or a stroke.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:SeizuresPosterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES)Heart problems
- Talk with your doctor before using this medicine if you plan to have children. Some men who use this medicine have become infertile (unable to have children).
- Do not stop using this medicine, even for a short time, without first asking your doctor.
