Bimzelx (bimekizumab) es un medicamento de anticuerpos monoclonales aprobado para el tratamiento de la psoriasis en placas de moderada a grave en adultos que son candidatos para terapia sistémica o fototerapia. - Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes
- Fever, chills, cough, runny or stuffy nose, sore throat, body aches
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, of if you have liver disease, inflammatory bowel disease (including Crohn disease or ulcerative colitis), or a history of depression, suicidal thoughts or behavior, or tuberculosis, Tell your doctor if you have any type of infection or an infection that keeps coming back.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Changes in behavior or mood, including thoughts of suicideIncreased risk of infectionsLiver problemsInflammatory bowel disease
- You will need to have a skin test for tuberculosis (TB) before you start using this medicine. Tell your doctor if you or anyone in your home has ever had a positive TB skin test or has been exposed to TB.
- Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
