Humatin (sulfato de paromomicina) es un antibiótico aminoglucósido utilizado principalmente como un agente antiparasitario para tratar infecciones intestinales causadas por ciertos parásitos, como la amebiasis y las tenias. Funciona inhibiendo la síntesis de proteínas en los organismos susceptibles, erradicando así la infección. Humatin también se utiliza a veces en el manejo del coma hepático como terapia adyuvante.Side Effects

Warnings
- Make sure your doctor knows if you have stomach or bowel problems (such as ulcerative colitis) or myasthenia gravis before taking paromomycin.
