¿Qué es Levobunolol Hcl?
El clorhidrato de levobunolol es un bloqueador no selectivo de los receptores beta-adrenérgicos utilizado principalmente en el tratamiento del glaucoma. Funciona reduciendo la producción de humor acuoso y aumentando el flujo de salida, lo cual disminuye la presión intraocular. Este medicamento es efectivo para el manejo a largo plazo de la hipertensión ocular y el glaucoma crónico de ángulo abierto.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
- Chest pain, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have heart disease, diabetes, an overactive thyroid, lung or breathing problems, blood vessel problems (including Raynaud phenomenon), myasthenia gravis, or a history of heart failure.
- Ophthalmic routeIf you hurt your eye, develop an eye infection, or need to have eye surgery, talk with your doctor right away. You may need to change your medicine or stop using it.
- Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. You may need to stop using this medicine several days before you have surgery or medical tests.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
