Regadenosón es un agente de estrés farmacológico utilizado principalmente en la imagenología de perfusión miocárdica. Activa selectivamente el receptor A2A de adenosina, induciendo vasodilatación coronaria que mejora el flujo sanguíneo en el corazón. Este agente se utiliza durante las pruebas de esfuerzo cardíaco para evaluar la enfermedad arterial coronaria en pacientes que no pueden someterse a pruebas tradicionales basadas en el ejercicio.Side Effects
- Lightheadedness, dizziness, or fainting
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Chest pain that may spread to your arms, jaw, back, or neck, trouble breathing, nausea, unusual sweating
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), heart or blood vessel disease, heart valve disease, seizures, or unstable angina.
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Serious risk of heart attack, stroke, or heart rhythm problemsHigh or low blood pressureSeizures
- Fast, slow, or uneven heartbeat
- Lightheadedness, dizziness, or fainting
- Numbness or weakness on one side of your body, sudden or severe headache, problems with vision, speech, or walking
