¿Qué es Simulect?
Simulect (basiliximab) es un anticuerpo monoclonal utilizado como inmunosupresor para prevenir el rechazo de órganos en pacientes que se someten a trasplante de riñón. Se dirige específicamente al receptor de IL-2 en las células T activadas, bloqueando la activación mediada por IL-2 de los linfocitos, lo cual es una vía crítica en la respuesta inmune que contribuye al rechazo del órgano. - Fever, chills, cough, sore throat, joint pain, or body aches
- Unusual bleeding, bruising, or weakness
- Swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet, rapid weight gain
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- This medicine may make you bleed, bruise, or get infections more easily. Take precautions to prevent illness and injury. Wash your hands often.
- Change in how much or how often you urinate, pain or burning when you urinate
- Chest pain, fast or uneven heartbeat
- Confusion, or numbness and tingling in your hands, feet, or lips
