¿Qué es Tabrecta?
Tabrecta (capmatinib) es un medicamento con receta utilizado para tratar a adultos con cáncer de pulmón de células no pequeñas (CPCNP) que presenta mutaciones específicas en el gen MET, según lo identificado por una prueba aprobada por la FDA. Este inhibidor de cinasa oral tiene como objetivo específico la mutación de salto del exón 14 del MET en las células tumorales, lo que potencialmente inhibe el crecimiento del tumor. - Rapid weight gain, swelling in your hands, ankles, or feet
- Sudden and severe stomach pain, nausea, vomiting, fever, lightheadedness
- Chest pain, cough, fever, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Do not breastfeed while you are using this medicine and for at least 1 week after your last dose.
- Keep all medicine out of the reach of children. Never share your medicine with anyone.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease, liver disease, or other lung or breathing problems.
- Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
- This medicine may make your skin more sensitive to sunlight. Wear sunscreen. Do not use sunlamps or tanning beds.
