¿Qué es Targadox?
La Doxiciclina Hiclato es un antibiótico de amplio espectro que pertenece a la clase de las tetraciclinas, utilizado para tratar una variedad de infecciones bacterianas, incluyendo las infecciones del tracto respiratorio, afecciones de la piel y enfermedades de transmisión sexual. Funciona inhibiendo la síntesis de proteínas en las bacterias, previniendo así su crecimiento y proliferación. Además, la Doxiciclina Hiclato se emplea en la prevención de la malaria y como tratamiento para el acné y ciertas enfermedades inflamatorias.Side Effects

Warnings
- Avoid prolonged sun exposure or use of tanning equipment, use sunscreen and protective clothing.
- Children under 8 years or pregnant women should avoid use due to risk of teeth discoloration and bone growth inhibition.
- May interfere with oral contraceptives; consider additional contraceptive methods.
- Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney dysfunction.
- Reports of Clostridium difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD) have been observed with use of nearly all antibacterial agents, including doxycycline.
