¿Qué es Tezspire?
Tezspire (tezepelumab-ekko) es un anticuerpo monoclonal utilizado como tratamiento de mantenimiento complementario para el asma grave en pacientes de 12 años o más, cuyo asma no está adecuadamente controlado con otros medicamentos. Al dirigirse e inhibir la linfopoyetina estromal tímica (TSLP), Tezspire ayuda a reducir las exacerbaciones del asma y a mejorar la función pulmonar en general.Side Effects
- Redness, itching, or swelling of the eyes
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a parasite infection.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
- This medicine will not stop an asthma attack that has already started. Your doctor may prescribe another medicine for you to use in case of an asthma attack. Tell your doctor right away if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.
