What is Aler-Cap?
Diphenhydramine HCl is an antihistamine primarily used to relieve symptoms of allergy, hay fever, and the common cold, such as itching, runny nose, sneezing, and hives. It works by blocking the effects of histamine, a substance in the body that causes allergic symptoms, and is also utilized as a sleep aid due to its sedative properties. Additionally, diphenhydramine can be used to prevent and treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness caused by motion sickness.Side Effects
