¿Qué es Dovato?
Dovato es un medicamento antirretroviral de dosis fija combinada utilizado para el tratamiento de la infección por VIH-1 en adultos. Contiene dos ingredientes activos, dolutegravir y lamivudina, que funcionan inhibiendo la replicación viral y reduciendo la cantidad de virus en el cuerpo. Dovato es recomendado para pacientes sin resistencia conocida a sus componentes y permite un régimen de tratamiento simplificado con solo una tableta diaria.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Blistering, peeling, red skin rash
- Dark urine or pale stools, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, stomach pain, yellow skin or eyes
Warnings
- Using this medicine while you are pregnant can harm your unborn baby. If you are a woman who can get pregnant, your doctor may do tests to make sure you are not pregnant before starting treatment. Do not use this medicine during the first part of your pregnancy. Use an effective form of birth control to keep from getting pregnant. Tell your doctor right away if you think you have become pregnant.
- Do not breastfeed. You can spread HIV or AIDS to your baby through your breast milk.
- Tell your doctor if you have kidney disease or liver disease (including hepatitis B or C).
- This medicine may cause the following problems:Liver problemsLactic acidosis (too much acid in the blood)
- Your immune system may get stronger when you start using HIV medicines. This could cause a hidden infection in your body to become active. Tell your doctor right away if you notice any changes in your health.
