Epidiolex 100ML of 100MG/ML
Epidiolex is a medication that contains cannabidiol, a compound derived from the cannabis plant. It is prescribed to help control seizures in adults and children who have specific types of epilepsy, such as Lennox-Gastaut syndrome, Dravet syndrome, and tuberous sclerosis complex. These conditions can cause frequent seizures and may also lead to developmental delays and other challenges. While the exact way Epidiolex works to prevent seizures is not fully understood, it is believed to help stabilize electrical activity in the brain. Common side effects may include drowsiness, fatigue, and changes in appetite. It is important to follow your prescriber's directions carefully when taking Epidiolex. Your doctor will determine the right dose for you and may adjust it over time. Do not stop taking Epidiolex suddenly, as this can lead to withdrawal symptoms or worsening seizures. Always discuss any questions or concerns with your healthcare provider.
