Liothyronine Sodium is a synthetic form of the thyroid hormone triiodothyronine (T3), used primarily to treat hypothyroidism and myxedema coma. It acts by replenishing deficient T3 levels, consequently enhancing metabolic rate and energy production in the body. Liothyronine is also employed in various diagnostic tests for thyroid function.

Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have kidney disease, liver disease, heart or blood vessel disease, diabetes, blood clotting problems, adrenal gland problems, or pituitary gland problems.
