What is Menquadfi?
MenQuadfi is a meningococcal vaccine indicated for active immunization to prevent invasive meningococcal disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, Y, and W in individuals 2 years of age and older. The vaccine works by stimulating the body’s immune response to produce antibodies against meningococci, providing protective immunity against these bacteria. MenQuadfi is administered as a single dose via intramuscular injection.Side Effects

- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Fainting
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have a weak immune system or a history of Guillain-Barré syndrome.
- This vaccine may not protect everyone who receives it. This vaccine will not prevent tetanus, and will not treat symptoms of meningococcal infection if you already have the disease.
