Warnings
- Increased risk of bleeding—patients should report any unusual bleeding or bruising to their healthcare provider immediately.

- Discontinue use prior to surgeries due to bleeding risk, generally recommended at least 5 days in advance.
- Drug interactions with other medications that affect hemostasis, such as NSAIDs and warfarin, may increase bleeding risk.
- Not recommended for patients with active pathological bleeding, such as peptic ulcer or intracranial hemorrhage.
