Vaxelis es una vacuna pediátrica hexavalente diseñada para proteger contra seis enfermedades principales: difteria, tétanos, pertussis (tos ferina), poliomielitis (polio), hepatitis B y Haemophilus influenzae tipo b (Hib). Administrada mediante inyección intramuscular, Vaxelis generalmente se administra a bebés y niños en una serie de dosis para establecer y potenciar la inmunidad contra estas enfermedades.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
- Bluish lips or skin
- Crying constantly for 3 hours or more
Warnings
- Tell your doctor if your child has a weak immune system.
- This vaccine may cause the following problems:Severe nerve and muscle problems (including Guillain-Barré syndrome, brachial neuritis)Breathing problems (including apnea), in premature babies
- Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.
- Your doctor will check your progress and the effects of this medicine at regular visits. Keep all appointments.
