Zepbound Black Friday 2026: What Lilly's Pricing Looks Like This Year

Eli Lilly does not run a Black Friday sale on Zepbound. What it does have is a set of year-round savings and self-pay prices, most of which are set to expire December 31, 2026. Here is each one, checked against Lilly and Medicare in October 2026.

Medically informed guide · Updated October 2026 · 7 min read

There is no Zepbound Black Friday discount. As of October 2026, the main ways to save are: as little as $25 per fill with commercial insurance that covers it, self-pay KwikPen or vials starting at $299 a month (rising by dose), and no more than $50 a month for eligible Medicare Part D patients through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge.

  • Black Friday sale from Lilly: none announced.
  • Covered commercial insurance: as little as $25 for a 1, 2 or 3-month fill of the single-dose Pen.
  • Commercial insurance that does not cover the single-dose Pen: as low as $499 for a 1-month fill.
  • Self-pay KwikPen or vials: starting at $299 for a 1-month (28-day) supply.
  • Medicare Part D: no more than $50/month through the Medicare GLP-1 Bridge for those who qualify.
  • Most Lilly savings card terms on the Zepbound site end December 31, 2026.
Bottom line: Do not wait for a Black Friday price that is not coming. Check your insurance and Medicare options first, then Lilly's self-pay prices. Keep the December 31, 2026 end date on the current savings cards in mind.

Is there a Zepbound Black Friday deal?

No. As of October 2026, Eli Lilly has not announced any Black Friday or Cyber Monday pricing for Zepbound. Prescription drug makers generally do not run holiday sales. What you pay depends on your coverage and on the savings programs Lilly offers all year.

The date that matters more this year is December 31, 2026. That is when the current Zepbound savings card terms listed on Lilly's site are set to expire. Lilly may renew or change them, so check the Zepbound coverage and savings page before you fill.

With commercial insurance

If your plan covers Zepbound, the Zepbound savings card can lower your cost to as little as $25 for a 1, 2 or 3-month fill of the single-dose Pen. Savings are capped at $100, $200 or $300 per fill depending on length, with up to $1,300 and 13 fills per calendar year. The card terms run through December 31, 2026.

If your commercial plan does not cover the single-dose Pen, the card can bring a 1-month fill down to as low as $499. If your plan does not cover the KwikPen, Lilly lists the same tiered prices as the self-pay KwikPen (below), up to 11 fills a year.

People with Medicare, Medicaid, VA, TRICARE or other government coverage cannot use these savings cards.

Self-pay KwikPen and vials

If you are paying cash, Lilly sells Zepbound KwikPen and vials starting at $299 for a 1-month supply. KwikPen prices step up by dose:

  • 2.5 mg: $299 a month.
  • 5 mg: $399 a month.
  • 7.5 mg, 10 mg, 12.5 mg and 15 mg: $449 a month when you refill within 45 days of your last delivery.
  • If you miss that 45-day window: $499 for 7.5 mg and $699 for 10 mg, 12.5 mg and 15 mg.

💡 The 45-day refill rule

The $449 price on higher doses depends on refilling on time. If a holiday trip or a pause pushes you past 45 days, the next fill can cost $50 to $250 more. Plan refills around travel.

Lilly sells vials through LillyDirect and lists them as starting at $299 for 4 vials. It does not list every vial dose price on the coverage page, so confirm the price for your dose on LillyDirect.

Medicare and the GLP-1 Bridge

Medicare drug plans have long been barred from covering medicines used only for weight loss. The Medicare GLP-1 Bridge, a CMS program running from July 1, 2026 through December 31, 2027, gives eligible Part D members a $50 copay. Lilly says Zepbound costs no more than $50 a month through the Bridge for eligible Part D patients prescribed it for weight management.

  • Lilly lists the qualifying uses as obesity, overweight with weight-related medical problems, and moderate to severe obstructive sleep apnea with obesity, following the Bridge's clinical criteria.
  • Your prescriber handles a prior authorization. Coverage is not guaranteed.
  • Check eligibility at Medicare.gov or call 1-800-MEDICARE.

Medicare patients who do not qualify can still pay Lilly's self-pay KwikPen prices.

Which path is cheapest for you?

  1. You have Medicare Part D: start with the GLP-1 Bridge. $50 a month is lower than any self-pay price.
  2. Your commercial plan covers Zepbound: get the prior authorization and use the savings card for as little as $25 per fill.
  3. You are paying cash on a starting dose: the 2.5 mg KwikPen or vials start at $299 a month.
  4. You are paying cash on a higher dose: $449 a month if you refill within 45 days, so keep refills on schedule.

Watch for fake tirzepatide deals

Holiday ads can promise cheap tirzepatide with no prescription. The FDA has warned about unapproved GLP-1 products sold online, including products labeled "for research use only." Red flags include no prescription or provider visit, sellers that are not licensed U.S. pharmacies, and products shipped from outside the country. Buy only with a valid prescription from a state-licensed pharmacy.

🚨 When to Contact Your Healthcare Provider

Call your provider right away if any of these happen while taking Zepbound. Call 911 for trouble breathing, fainting or severe pain.

  • Severe belly pain that will not go away, with or without vomiting, especially if it spreads to your back: possible pancreatitis.
  • Pain in the upper right belly, fever, or yellow skin or eyes: possible gallbladder problem.
  • Vomiting or diarrhea that keeps you from drinking fluids: risk of dehydration and kidney injury.
  • Swelling of the face, lips or throat, hives or trouble swallowing: possible allergic reaction.
  • A lump in the neck, hoarseness or trouble swallowing: tell your provider promptly.
  • New or worsening depression or thoughts of self-harm: get help right away.
