¿Qué es Infed?
Infed (hierro dextrano) es una terapia de hierro parenteral utilizada para tratar a pacientes con deficiencia de hierro documentada en los cuales la administración oral de hierro es ineficaz, mal tolerada o impráctica. Se utiliza comúnmente para corregir la anemia en pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica o aquellos que están sometidos a quimioterapia. Infed funciona reponiendo las reservas de hierro del cuerpo mediante una inyección intravenosa, permitiendo la síntesis efectiva de hemoglobina y glóbulos rojos.Side Effects

Warnings
- Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have liver disease, heart disease, a kidney infection, rheumatoid arthritis, allergies, or asthma.
- Tell any doctor or dentist who treats you that you are using this medicine. This medicine may affect certain medical test results.
- This medicine could raise your iron levels too high. Your doctor will do lab tests at regular visits to check on the effects of this medicine. Keep all appointments.
