Unisom SleepTabs son un medicamento sin receta para ayudar a dormir que contiene el antihistamínico doxilamina succinato como ingrediente activo. Se utilizan para tratar disturbios del sueño a corto plazo al bloquear los receptores de histamina, promoviendo así la somnolencia y facilitando el sueño. Unisom SleepTabs no crean hábito cuando se usan según las indicaciones y generalmente se toman 30 minutos antes de acostarse para ayudar a conseguir una noche de sueño tranquila.Side Effects
- Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in your face or hands, swelling or tingling in your mouth or throat, chest tightness, trouble breathing
Warnings
- Call your doctor if your symptoms do not improve or if they get worse.
- This medicine may make you dizzy or drowsy. Use the tablet only at bedtime. Avoid driving, using machines, or doing anything else that could be dangerous if you are not alert.
- Make sure your doctor knows if you or your child are pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you have glaucoma, breathing problems (such as emphysema or bronchitis), or problems with urination due to an enlarged prostate.
- If sleeplessness lasts longer than 2 weeks, talk to your doctor.
- You should not give the tablet to a child under 12 years of age.
