What is Vancomycin Hcl ?

Vancomycin HCl is a glycopeptide antibiotic used primarily for the treatment of severe infections caused by Gram-positive bacteria, including methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). It functions by inhibiting bacterial cell wall synthesis, which is essential for bacterial growth and survival. Vancomycin is often reserved for cases in which other antibiotics are ineffective or contraindicated.
