What is Trazodone Hcl ?
Trazodone is a medication used to treat depression. It helps improve mood by increasing a natural substance in the brain that supports mental balance.
Trazodone is a medication primarily prescribed for treating depression. It works by increasing the levels of serotonin, a natural substance in the brain that helps maintain mental balance and improves mood. In addition to depression, trazodone may also be used for other conditions such as insomnia, anxiety, and certain movement disorders caused by other medications. While trazodone can be effective, it is important to take it exactly as your doctor prescribes. Your healthcare provider will determine the right dose for you, which may be adjusted over time. It may take some time to feel the full benefits of trazodone, so it’s essential to continue taking it even if you start to feel better. Common side effects can include dizziness, drowsiness, and dry mouth. If you experience any unusual symptoms or have concerns about your treatment, be sure to talk to your doctor. Always follow your prescriber’s directions and do not stop taking trazodone without consulting your healthcare provider, as stopping suddenly can lead to withdrawal symptoms.
