What is Cresemba ?

Cresemba (isavuconazonium sulfate) is an antifungal medication used to treat invasive aspergillosis and mucormycosis, serious infections caused by certain types of fungi. This drug works by inhibiting the growth of fungi, thereby reducing the spread of infection, and is typically reserved for use in adults with compromised immune systems or conditions that make them more susceptible to these infections.
