Motion sickness treatment online
Cruise or trip coming up? Get your patch before you go.
If boats, planes or car rides make you sick, the right medicine taken ahead of time can save your trip. A provider can review your health history online and prescribe options like the scopolamine patch, which is placed behind the ear before travel.
For non-emergencies only. Call 911 for a medical emergency. A licensed provider decides whether a prescription is right for you. Medication is paid separately at the pharmacy. Adults 18+.

Motion sickness questions
How do I use a scopolamine patch?
Put it on clean, dry skin behind one ear at least 4 hours before you need it. It lasts up to 3 days. Wash your hands after touching it, since getting it in your eyes can blur vision.
What are the side effects?
Dry mouth, drowsiness and blurred vision are the most common. Older adults are more likely to have confusion. It is not for people with angle-closure glaucoma or trouble urinating.
How far ahead should I book my visit?
A few days before your trip gives you time to pick up the prescription and try it at home if you want to.
How much does an online visit cost?
A flat $99 for the visit, self-pay, no insurance needed. Medication is paid separately at your pharmacy, where a free Rx.com coupon or your insurance can lower the price.
Will I definitely get a prescription?
No. The provider prescribes only when it is medically appropriate. Sometimes the right plan is OTC treatment or rest, and the provider will tell you if you need to be seen in person.
